A little amulet in massive bronze.
I made my first amulet for my father when he was ill and about to die. It was a kind of travel amulet – a small boat made in silver meant to give him fair winds in his sails during his very last journey.
Throughout all times, human beings have had amulets meant to protect us or give us courage and strength. This small amulet represents our lineage, our ancestors, whom we carry with us and need to reconnect with when life at times becomes too heavy to bear on our own.
The idea is that you can give it to yourself, to a friend or to a family member who needs the company and strength of those who came before us.
